Coupon only took $2 off any one pair of earrings. Which makes none of the sizes except 3mm available for $12.99 (they are anywhere from 18.99-39.99 for the other sizes)

Only sizes 4mm + available

267.95 cubic milli-meters for 8mm sphere
0.019 grams per cubic millimeter

24k gold is about .58 conversion from 14k gold.

gold at about $58 a gram.

It looks like this would be about $170 worth of gold for $40. Does that sound right?

It says "solid" but I assume the ball is hollow? That'd still be "solid", just not as much gold as you think? Just guessing of course.

It's hollow inside. Solid just meaning it is not "gold plated" on base metal.

Reviews are complaining about them being tiny and short stud posts. Probably not worth it, as the gram weight is probably smaller than we think.

I'm writing this to alert consumers:

PLEASE! PLEASE! NOTE
The "solid" part refers to the color. Not the weight of the item.

Item is NOT gold all throughout. It is a hollow product, a ball that is shaped to be empty inside hence the "affordable price"

Plus you will read under reviews "short post" and that's because the manufacturer is trying to save on the " gold metal"

I've worked for years in the Macy's jewelry department, I've seen these myself and don't want you to be disappointed when you receive the tiny item.

The size of a dime is 18mm. You just bought the 3mm, of which 6 sets will make up the size of a dime.
Not only are they small, but these are hollow.

When you receive the item you will be extremely disappointed 🤷🏻 ♀️
These feel like they are meant for a baby' ear 😒

I am In jewelry Manufacturig, I promise you these are not solid, but hollow. They don't manufacture solid gold ball studs especially for this price. They are also tiny at 3mm diameter which is for an infant or child. Adult size starts at 6mm

Yeah they're hollow. I bought similar ones at Kohls some years ago. Same design. Price said it was originally $100 but I bought it for $20. I remember reviews stating that they get bent because they're hollow. At least you could sell them for the wee bit of gold they are.
