This is true, the official KN95 masks adhere to China's strict healthcare standards, which are equivalent to the US' N95 standard. In fact, Powecom is the only KN95 manufacturer that has been found by the FDA to perform well enough to be awarded an emergency use clause. In an emergency, American healthcare workers can use these very masks, as they've been found to be effective by our foremost public health agency, just fyi.

I purchased 20 of these before, and even though they definitely feel better filtration and quality than regular masks, the earloops are so tight that they hurt your ears. Not a problem for an 8-year old, but anybody over that age, they will have to come up with some kind of extender as I did (paperclip). I complained but they never got back to me.

used these during some long air travel days (12+ hours) over the weekend (thanks Southwest) and the top of both of my ears are scabbed. This is likely due to my fat head. I have used these for the past 6+ months for general use without issue. Just a FYI if you have a larger head and expect to use it for a long period of time. In that case, the behind the head straps will be better and more comfortable
