FYI, Offer email also says this:

If your purchase meets all eligibility requirements of the offer terms, you'll see your rewards reflected directly on your statement.

Exactly. They've had to cut back due to the pandemic and now that things are ramping up they can't scale fast enough.

Maybe someday flex work will be the norm with everyone having several part-time jobs and multiple skills and companies will be able to tap into or withdraw from an available skilled labor pool as needed, but that's not the present reality. Perhaps we should think about transitioning to that, as a society?
