GREAT deal IF you game and have a $1000+ (current prices) GPU to drive it. I have a 100hz QHD 34" monitor and an $800 video card and while I love the size, resolution, etc. I would need a new video card to get above the 100hz. Who knows if the GPU situation will EVER get better thanks to crypto mining.

How would this do in an home office setting where I'm switching between work and personal computers? Looking for an ultra wide to replace my 2560 x 1440, and would like 2 display ports as well.
Noob here who just spent his life savings on a rtx 3080. Is this monitor capable of handling all the 3080 can offer?? Appreciate the feedback
I have a budget of $500 to spend
Also, nice to have would be picture in picture or ability to split screen across two PC's so I can work and game at same time.. not sure yet how that impacts price

I bought this a little over a year ago when it went to front page. Monitor crapped out just about a year after purchase. Showed a black screen despite being recognized by computer as a 2nd monitor. Tried consoles but to no avail. Customer support was able to issue a replacement in about 2 weeks for free but it's best to call them first then because their online support is slow as a snail.
It does have an HDR mode but it's not that good because of the monitor lack of brightness. It's a VA panel so don't expect good viewing angles but its good if you sit in front of it.
When I had a rtx 2070s, I couldn't get enough frames to maintain the 144hz at ultrawide 1440p so screen starts to tear. After upgrading my gpu and maintaining fps, I didn't get any more tears when using 144hz mode. Something to keep in mind if you want to use this for gaming.
I would spend an extra few hundred for an IPS monitor and g-sync compatible if you don't have the gpu for it if you are primarily using this for gaming. I believe the most common complaint is the screen tearing.

HDR isn't good but its a mess on all monitors, only really good on expensive TVs. Rest of the monitor is great though
