This looks like it's about as close as we'll ever get to their previous 20% any item and 30% off under $10 items sales. Time to head over to restock. I need a bunch of low cost items I've been putting off buying, e.g. gloves, face shield, rotary bits, etc., maybe something a bit more expensive.
Btw has anyone bought those 10/15 pack Grease Monkey nitrile-coated gloves they sell at BJ's and Amazon, for around $10, and if so how do they compare to HF's version? I like the HF version but they don't last long, especially when using wire wheel drill bits.

It's sure isn't. But it has been interesting watching how the pandemic directly affected a business whose entire supply chain depends on manufacturing and transportation from the far east. I wonder how much product HF has floating on container ships right now or sitting idle in port somewhere.
I honestly don't know what Harbor Freight is thinking.
They used to be the place to go to when you needed a tool for a specific job that you may never use again, but hey, its about the same cost as renting, so why not?
With the prices they are charging now, eh... I'll just go buy a real tool brand.
I've been needing a new ladder, but am hesitant on buying a ladder from HF. Anyone used the ladder below? Is it worth it to wait for a different deal on a different multi-position ladder?

What is the reasoning on not going to them?
Was looking at a planer and now that Braun is included, was thinking of picking it up.
HF used to be the go to store for ok to decent tools for the price. Since they quit doing the 20% and freebie extras there's little to love anymore. Their prices are too high to justify the quality of the product, you're better off spending just slightly more to get a much better tool, especially power tools, that will outlast one job.
When i was young and broke HF was perfect. I remember the cheapest set of decent impact sockets was Craftsman and at the time they were around $80, I went over to HF and picked up a similar kit for $20 and i still use them today. Times change and there are many more competitors in the low to mid tier market and HF can't compete like they used to in terms of price and quality. I knew that half the tools from HF wouldn't last forever, but for the price it was a gamble i was willing to take. Not anymore
