Sweet. Picked up a few of the really large containers. This will help fill out my growing collection.... I think I have a problem. 🤔

That's technically correct. However, I have both and I don't see much of a difference to be honest...if that helps.

Salad spinner at Costco is on clearance for $12.97, but in ugly green. Still a good price.

Honest question - I currently use much cheaper Glad and Rubbermaid containers (probably $1-3 each). Putting aside that these look MUCH better, how are they different? The price tag just seems so high there must be something I'm missing.

For reference, the Costco set is 9-piece and was $47.99 on sale. I ended up buying two sets and have been happy with them.

Are the OXO Pop containers really worth the price? Conflicting reviews online whether they seal well.

Thanks OP. I'm somewhat clueless to these. I like the way they stack for storage and they are clear. I assume the seal works good, even though what I'm replacing doesn't.

The only kitchenware/homeware brand I would buy without needing to worry. I have more than 10 posts so I'm not a paid shill/bot. Careful buying from Amazon as I heard there are fakes with bad seals.

Here's a pretty thorough review of many different brands/styles:

https://www.reviewed.com/home-out...-on-amazon

I personally like that the OXO are harder plastic which seem to last longer and not show abrasions from scrubbing. They are also a clearer plastic so you can see what's inside and they come in tall shapes for things like pasta.

Mine seem to seal well but I've only had them for a short time. I noticed in the review I posted that they said food will go stale over time in these. But I expect that as it is not a vacuum seal. I guess I could put water in them to test.

I'd say just try them out and see if you like them. I have multiple different sets and use them for different purposes. The OXO set is for the countertop. The glasslock set from Costco (whatever it is called) is used for leftovers to be put in the fridge. The plastic lock set is for traveling and storage under the counter. The cheapo set is to take to family get-togethers for short-term storage.

That is a great deal!! It's normally 60 for the 9 pc which is about the same deal here with the 5 pc
