The gist of it is that micro bubbles are smaller than the pores on your skin.
Thus eliminating dirt etc more thoroughly.
Micro bubble showerhead from Mizsei I bought were $220. I know, it's alot.
But it worked wonders for someone I know with eczema/atopy.
It pretty much gets rid of dead skin and dirt reducing flareups.
But other than that it gives you much better feeling shower.
There are more affordable Korean micro bubble shower heads around 120~150.
And like everything else stay away from Chinese knockoffs.
Important thing to look for is
How small the micro bubbles are and how many micro bubbles per minute the shower head produces. GL!
Oh and don't get anything that requires a filter. The one I got from Mizsei (Japanese) didn't need one.
Are there objective reviews anywhere?

If you google Mizsei shower head reddit there are a couple of related posts.
Or try googling Mizsei showerhead reviews. GL.
We have poor water pressure in the shower that I'm looking to upgrade. Does this improve the feeling of pressure or is it hindered by the low pressure provided to it?

Water pressure in your home would be something that needs attention from a plumber or someone knowledgeable but I doubt any type of showerhead would improve water pressure as it is an accessory you attach at the end of the water pipeline.
You would need to look to fix or make changes to the water pump/water heater to fix pressure problems.
