They need to just make a greatest hits line and leave them at this price (or even better, lower).

Maybe they will in a year or two and bring back the Nintendo Selects line. It would be nice but the thing is if games just keep selling anyway then it sort of kills their impetus to do so. Reportedly, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for example just keeps selling like gangbusters even years later.

great game but hard to get used to switch version after playing 60fps+ in 1080P or higher in CEMU.

Lol at the downvotes. The man is right. It is a far superior experience with fixed graphics, fixed bugs, added content, and going back after is like forgetting how to use the microwave

The thing is the games cost more but the trade in value hold as well. My 3 year old PS4 games are worth $5 but this game still has a trade in value of $38.

The problem is, you create a price point for entry that becomes a turn off for these consoles.

With the Xbox and PlayStation, you can buy into the platform and play some great older games for under $20!

Again, the $20 you spend is mostly gone if you want to trade in but the $40 you get most of it back. So, if you are buying and keeping you are right but if you are trading in I think the Nintendo ends up being cheaper

Not often, maybe 1-2x a year on the eshop at most. Typically around late January if I recall. I'd recommend getting a $50 gift card for $45 at Costco to really get best bang for buck when it does go on sale.

Never played BOTW, but wanting to eventually. I'm concerned about the sequel coming out, and then this being a wasted deal when I have time to play the whole series. Legit concern? Or is this just worth buying now while cheap?
