Not sure anyone in the last thread ever found an employee that knew how to bring up the QR code for them to scan... I was going to wait until near the end, so hopefully by then, at least someone will know how to do it. Some of the fast food places here still don't seem to know how their own mobile app orders work.

Not sure what the last thread was about but in this deal you bring up the QR code on your PayPal app to pay with when paying in-store. All the employee has to do is scan the QR with their reader.

Might give this a try this weekend.

This deal worked great for me in Amarillo, TX yesterday evening. Cashier knew what to do when mentioned paying with PayPal and after paying, received an email that I was receiving $10 and just checked right now and I have the $10 balance. Great promo!

Tried they couldn't figure out how to ring it up. The scanner would beep a bunch but never made it to the register. Not sure gonna bother trying again. Been on the throne all night since eating it.

Just did the Venmo deal by buying a $10 gift card.
The cashier has to select payment type.
Therefore, for this PayPal deal, they'll have to do the same.

Cashier:. $10
Me:. Place phone with Venmo QR code in front of QR reader.
QR reader:. Beep beep beep beep
Cashier:. Wait wait wait. What are you doing?
Me:. I'm trying to pay with Venmo.
Cashier:. Oh, okay. Venmo. Hold on... Presses something on her screen. Okay, try now.
Me:. Place phone with Venmo QR code in front of QR reader.
