Deal History
Deal History includes data from multiple reputable stores, such as Best Buy, Target, and Walmart. The lowest price among stores for a given day is selected as the "Sale Price".
Sale Price does not include sale prices at Amazon unless a deal was posted by a community member.
This is the lowest price I've ever seen the 1TB. Think I'll just pick it up and hope I can find something to do with it, luckily Amazon has an extended holiday return policy right now, just in case.
This one or the Crucial P5 1TB for $90 from Bestbuy?
P5 is DRAMless and QLC
Sabrent has DRAM and is TLC
I have 2 of these Sabrents. One in a desktop and one in a laptop for over a year now and they haven't given me any trouble. Desktop current temp 28c lifetime max temp 43c. Benchmarks are consistent with specs.
Is it worth +$20? To me it would be.
Edit: I was wrong the P5 does have DRAM and TLC. Only issue is heat, I would probably lean toward crucial p5.

Per benchmark com website Samsung is 30th fastest vs the rocket at 69th. Samsung is the go to name for speed and quality these days. Even if the 980 was not on sale (normally $139) I would still take it over this one.

I purchased this drive (The sabrent one) almost 2 years ago on BF for $100. It has been a great drive.
