Looks like $150 regular price and currently at $122 on Amazon.

Minimal reviews on this model.

Any experience? I need a robot vacuum to supplement regular vacuum with two dogs (not big shedders). I have thresholds that are about 0.75" high which I need it to cross.

Suggestions? Is this good enough?

It is essentially the 11s, which has 50,000+ reviews [amazon.com], but the 25c includes a programmable time to vacuum each day as well as WiFi so that you can control it via an app instead of just the remote control.
It also has slightly better suction power at 1500pa vs 1300pa on the 11s model.
Same size, same battery, same method of cleaning the house using random motion.

You're in luck. It's live and it is a great deal at that price.

You may be misunderstanding. It cleans in a random pattern which some people find a bit odd vs. straight lines up & down until it gets to the other side of the room.

I have the 11s (see above for comparison) and hardwood floors downstairs. We have two dogs and this makes dealing with the dog hair accumulating at the edges of the floor and under the couch a thing of the past.

Thumbs up, OP.
Nice deal......makes me want to consider returning my 11s that I bought for $129.

I bought this last year, for the same price (BF deals, if I recall). Like Evo-IC said, it is a dumb vacuum. It will go straight until it hits something, then it'll turn somewhat randomly. If you watch it, it can be aggravating. But we set it to go 5 times a week when no one's home. It picks up a lot of stuff, does its job... as long as you accept that:

1) It will get stuck at random place every now and then. No mapping and it isn't smart enough to avoid some hazards
2) it likely won't cover your whole house if you have multiple rooms. But if you let it loose enough, it will get everything cleaned eventually. Major time saver for us, especially under the beds!!!
3) it is dumb. Don't watch it go. You'll want to scream at it! Big Grin

For $100 and you don't need every spots in your house covered every single time, it's a really great deal! We have been very happy with it.

[EDIT: we have 90% hardwood floor, out of 1400 sq ft single storey floor plan.]

A much better unit with mapping for $50 more:

Be sure to read the critical reviews. This is a bumbling-around dumb unit.

Totally disagree. I bought the Verge and it doesn't do any better or different than my 15c did other than you can start it with the app. The 25c is app compatible too. Save yourself the $50 and go with this one.

The Verge / Edge has mapping. The 25c does not. It bumbles around like a 15 year old Roomba Red.

Let's say I restrict it to one carpeted room at a time, by closing all the doors. Would it end up covering most of the floor - I don't mind if it's not 100%.
The other question is if it's random, how does it know if it has covered the whole room?
