Costco T-Mobile generally gives back tradein value back in visa/master gift card after a month or two. So it is easy for people who want pay upfront rather than waiting for credits over 2 years.

Two questions. First can I take advantage of this if I'm TMO customer. And my parents has Costco membership ? Second. I pay the whole phone upfront and get visa gift card for amount I paid ? I am a magenta Max customer.

That ended up less than what I used to pay. It really depends on how much free line promo credit the old plan has. If most of the lines are paid lines, it probably won't work well.

I would say no, I got my Pixel 4 from Costco for T-Mobile, it was locked to T-Mobile for the first 40 days then they unlocked it, the updates were not slower for me, they were and still are the exact same.

What's the best way to do this if you're on the old TMobile one plan. I pay 67 for 3 lines so I don't want to change the plan unless I won't lose my free line and family worker discount

I expect I can get 300 off for trading in my pixel 3?

I am on simple plan and got the $450 promo for my non 5G OnePlus 7 Pro. $40 up front and remaining $410 through 24 months bill credits. Had to call twice though, the first CS Rep claimed I was not eligible.
