Costco T-Mobile generally gives back tradein value back in visa/master gift card after a month or two. So it is easy for people who want pay upfront rather than waiting for credits over 2 years.

I see one more deal where $500 off when you add a line. No need to trade in anything. Just curious- how long we need to keep that line open? If I add a new line to my existing (non-magenta) plan..?

it will. i did trade in with tmobile rep one time. gave him the model and imei correctly. rep made a typo on the model ex iphone 6, he typed in iphone 6s. even with the correct imei # on record. trade in credit got denied. had to contact tmobile back to get that credit applied

I'm thinking about getting S9 for Pixel 6 Pro trade-in. Planning to upgrade my wife's voice line. But she doesn't want to part with her Note 20U. Anyone know if the Pixel 6 need to be active with a sim? I'm planning just to use the 2nd Pixel as WiFi only device.

I'm only going on what I've been told directly by T-Mobile. The $450 is a trade in, then $449 or whatever spread over 24 months.

That doesnt really make sense because the IMEI number gives you the exact info of that phone?

They offer it a couple times a year. You have to get an invite but typically they're ways to get one when is running. It gives you 20% off service. It's nice.

I have a pixel 3 with nano sim on TMobile. Do I ordered a pixel 6 pro from google. Do I need a new sim card because of the switch to 5g or can I continue to use the same sim? Does TMobile allow me to set up esim on it?

You can still use the same sim but it won't give you 5G service. You need the R15 sim to get 5G. Although the 5G service we have is bad and my family members have it turned off.

I pulled the trigger on the same deal. First responders plan but 2 different rep told me I will get $900 for OnePlus 8t 5G. I paid $30 activation instead of order it myself online. Just in case if something goes wrong they should honor the price.
