Both the Costco 14" and the Apple 14" have the 8-core CPU.

Costco: $1949
Apple store: $1849

That _is_ strange.

With regards to this extra Costco warranty (with and without store credit card), who is the warranty through (ie who do you have to deal with for claims/repairs)? And how is their service for repair/replacement?
