FYI, it's recommended to use Merv 8 or lower for most residential units, esp if you have an older system. Anything higher can cause your system to overwork because of the restricted airflow, which means more energy costs and worst case maintenance calls. If you're gonna go with a higher Merv, make sure you regularly change your filter so the airflow isn't restricted.

I wish it was merv 7, my furnace makes banging noises at merv 8 and up and thats a bad thing for your system. 😥
