Why would one use a glue gun instead of adhesive in a caulk gun? I just got the ryobi caulk gun and trying to make a case for the glue gun other than for crafts. I'm looking at the 307 with dual temp

I like to use hot glue when dealing with materials where toxicity might be an issue - such as electronics. If I'm hot gluing wires to a circuit board, or on the inside of a plastic case, I really would prefer hot glue vs whatever is in those adhesives. I might be worrying about nothing, but there has to be a reason electronics companies use hot glue inside devices.

Also, on wood perhaps? Hot glue neatly sits on wood. I'm not as trusting with all adhesives.

Nothing beats a wired one. And they are cheaper as well.

I have a garage full of ryobi tools I've bought from them and have had very good experiences.
Did you buy any "factory blemished" or refurbished as well? Or just regular stuff?

I have recently gotten into Ryobi line and have only purchased from HD. Haven't really tested them yet on a bigger project. Time will tell if it is a good spend.

Mostly factory Blemished "aka" New. However, I've bought several used/refurbished without incident. However, ymmv based on other posts on here.

I have been eying the caulk gun. How is your experience with it? Worth the money. What other advantages over manual gun, other than that cheap manual one gives a little hand workout

I just ordered it this weekend during the promo, but I ordered it to hopefully have a more even spread while caulking and avoiding the obvious squeezing of the trigger on a cheap manual HDX brand gun from Home Depot.

Throughout the ordering process it did not give me any chance to enter free shipping code... where do you enter that. Otherwise it really isn't worth it with $10 shipping

if you have kids going through school just do yourself a favor and pick this up. Craft projects are inevitable and this thing is awesome, no more 4-foot cord on a crap 5 dollar hot glue gun that falls over and burns the table. Portable, drip tray, takes "mini" sticks. worth every penny.

You enter promo codes in the shopping cart. It's at the bottom of the list of items.
