Yea, but it's not ideal. It will be a lot slower and sometimes leaves the wood burnt/shiny

Yes. I did (my only first blade was metal) and would not recommend it for thick wood. It is very slow to cut wood. (But the fine-tooth metal-blade might be better for thinner wood cuts.) I bought the 6 inch wood blade. Very fast for cutting fallen branches.

I found out too late. Got 3 of em and barely use the metal blades. I find the ax blades and demo blades work better and last longer. Ends up costing about the same

Agreed on that. I use mine for wood far more than metal. All the packs they sent out are always heavy on metal blades.

Completely agree.

Having the right blade for your task makes a huge difference.
Even just for cutting a limb off a tree, the pruning blade vs a standard wood cutting blade goes 5x faster.

Diablo also has blades on sale for 14.88 I believe I seen could be wrong as they were setting up all the stands when I was browsing
