Yeah it was disappointing. Personally, I won't be buying any more "reconditioned" from them, just factory blemished. With the power washer, thankfully I was able to bend the first one back into alignment just enough to get the handle on it. I swapped the broken piece out with the one that came on the replacement power washer and kept the power washer that was in good condition, sending the heavily used replacement back.

I'm not sure what happened for this poster, or in the other posters comment on their power washer, but they seem off. I, and others, have bought reconditioned tools from DTO. They come with a physical heat stamp that says 'RECON'. What they described sounds like they bought pre owned, or possible from tools_direct on ebay (not the same as DTO at all).
