I think the pro also has a higher TDP 3070 (like 140w instead of 130w), and one more heat pipe for presumably better cooling.

For those comparing this laptop to others with faster processors, etc., keep in mind that a 5800 will run a lot faster than a throttled 5900 in a thin or poorly-cooled laptop.

The RAM in this Walmart laptop is the slow tRFC timings. You'll want to upgrade to new RAM if you want the best gaming performance.

Yes, the RAM and storage are not soldered, and so you can replace them no problem.

I ordered this exact computer for same price 2 weeks ago from Walmart and it still hasn't shipped. Meanwhile my card was charged immediately.

Well like others this afternoon (pst) it let me order it after clicking add to cart over and over again. Says it will arrive friday (oct29)and needs a signature. Honest opinions would you be ok with the listed price IF it doesnt adjust to the sending price 1399?

Also I nearly messed my boxers when after the 100 click on add to cart and it finally went through. Ok who am I kidding, theres a mess in the front.

I think its still a dang good deal for 1529. I just ordered one today and afterwards I saw brickseeker had a walmart kind of near me with 3-4 of that laptop for 1399 but i already made the online order :|

I placed an order on Sunday for this and it still shows placed. When I went to an online chat, the status of the order in that chat window was in "preparing status" so maybe that might be the same for yours. Not sure if that is even the right status though but maybe it'll offer some peace of mind
