I think the pro also has a higher TDP 3070 (like 140w instead of 130w), and one more heat pipe for presumably better cooling.

For those comparing this laptop to others with faster processors, etc., keep in mind that a 5800 will run a lot faster than a throttled 5900 in a thin or poorly-cooled laptop.

The RAM in this Walmart laptop is the slow tRFC timings. You'll want to upgrade to new RAM if you want the best gaming performance.

Yes, the RAM and storage are not soldered, and so you can replace them no problem.

Just to confirm - you have to buy directly from walmart online for $1529 to get it price matched down to 1400. It won't work for third party scalpers selling for $1800+...right?

I put my order in yesterday morning and it said delivery by Halloween… it hasn't even moved to "prep stage" yet. Lol. I guess I'm on the boat with most of you guys. I'm going to be waiting!

Got my order in yesterday morning, as well, and it hasn't made it to the next stage either, yet it says it will arrive in 3 days. I'm going to keep trying to get in a second order just in case; seen people get successful orders after some of the people who have had cancelations, so it's probably luck of the draw. Order as many as you can, I guess lol

My order arrived today. Great value especially if you combine the 8% or 5% cash back on top of the 1399 adjusted price. Mines nicely at 63MH/s at 105 watts or so on the gpu with temps in the low 60s. Beautiful screen and solid build. I also received the new windows 11 build.
