Not sure if this is nationwide or not, but my Costco just started selling Kirkland brand grass-fed butter for $9.99.

A friend of mine tell me that because this brand has the highest fat content, it's perfect for making THC butter, if you're in a legal state, that is.

Can someone tell me how the limit of 3 per transaction works? Can I buy 3 and then repeat or do I have to wait to buy more the next day?

Yeah. They're like in little tubes. Great for spreading on bread.
No tubes...two 8 ounce rectangle bricks in foil.

Land o lakes is 2x16oz for $7 at Tom thumb this week ... Somehow tastes better to me on toast. It's nice to have frugal tastes.

Yes, they are from New Zealand, I like it better than KerryGold.

is it something special about this butter? How is it different from the butter that Costco sells like 3 packs (salted or unsalted) all the time?

In LA Costco, I found butter from Normandy...expensive ($10 for a pound), but really good. Wouldn't use it cook with, but tastes delicious on some good bread (try Lodge Bakery).

It's salted, fwiw.
what is lodge bakery? do you have a link to the product?

Unsalted too? I've only seen salted here (CA)
In our costco we only have unsalted. In bay area CA.

It tastes substantially better, not that there's anything wrong with "regular" butter.

If butter is just an ingredient, it's subtle and you might not notice. If butter is the main event (say toast), it'll be obvious.

Better flavor and the cows aren't fed GMO corn (if that matters to you).

European butter has
higher fat content which means more flavor.
