There's a war going on between the electric and gas providers, and the electric providers seem to gain the upper hands, on ground that gas appliances create pollution and unhealthy. They even have some govt authorities on their side, with plans to ban gas appliances in the future
I prefer gas for cooking, heating (when outdoors temps are colder than 40 degrees), and heating water on demand (tankless). Those are way more efficient than electricity.

Add it to cart and it will show you the cost before tax. It should show 581.98. keep in mind if you want them to haul away your old range there is a $25 additional fee. Let me know if you have any more questions. I'm glad to help.

You can replace the middle portion with a standard grate. IDK what they're going for now--was under $50 when I bought one for mine.

The push to ban natural gas hookups in newly constructed buildings has mushroomed in California since Berkeley passed the first prohibition in 2019.

Altogether, 21 municipalities in the state have passed measures to require all-electric construction, according to a state tally, while an additional 19 discourage gas hookups.

Bay Area cities like San Francisco, Oakland and San Jose have closed the spigot on natural gas by passing electric-only building mandates.
im from california and it's effing BS. been looking at some new housing builds and contractors are using electric cause it's cheaper cause cities are charging extra for gas lines as a way to discourage contractors from offering it. way too expensive to get a gas line put in so you are forced to have everything electric. personally, no gas stove is a deal breaker for me no matter whether i rent or buy.

review said the oven doesn't do convection cooking, can anyone confirm? Looked on the Home Depot site and there was no mention of convection.

The only thing that bothers me on gas is paying all those "fees" making your bill high while you barely use the gas itself on summer...

How are they more efficient? They may cost less per BTU…
