Come on. You returned what you bought 4 years ago and are proud of it?

Go with the Asus. I've tried both and got much better coverage from the Zen.

On another note, apparently Netgear makes you pay for tech support after 90 days to actually use your warranty. That was a no go for me.

Highly highly HIGHLY recommend this. Ive had this system for 16 months now, it is amazing. No deadspots, no slowdowns, have only had to reset it once. It also supports port bonding, so will easily support 2gb download speed via bonded wan.

I've got the RBR50 with 4 satellites. Definitely overkill for my home, but I wanted Ethernet backhaul in multiple locations and got the satellites for cheap. I have several LIFX light bulbs and other smart accessories. The only thing in our house that supports wifi 6 at the moment are two iPhones. For the most part everything is plenty stable. Occasionally a few LIFX bulbs will have issues. That may be the bulbs themselves and not so much the network. Is it worth upgrading to this now or wait another year?
The rbk53 is rock solid and stable I use voxel firmware..you really don't need wifi6 at this time to be honest but some people upgrade just cuz.

I bought this Mesh System February 2021 full price $500 USD + taxes. Is there any way I can get the $150 discount?

Idea #1: Return my Mesh System with an old receipt. After return, buy a new mesh system. I don't really want to do this because not that eco-friendly but I have every right and can legally do this and not break the law.

Idea #2: Not sure if this is possible and if every scan and box's barcodes are the same or if the serial number must match the receipt. Buy the new Mesh System with the $150 discount. Return the brand new unopen mesh system with the old receipt to get the full refund from full MSRP. Not sure if this is possible to legal or I will get in trouble for doing this. I like this because it's more eco-friendly.

Idea 3: do nothing and be a good customer to Costco

Would this help with rooms that have issues due to the wall material. Have a room that is great before the door but really poor as soon as you step in.

Only thing holding me back from buying this is no free parental control on this mesh wifi system. Any suggestion on how to get parental control on this thing without paying for subscriptions?

I have RBR20 with 2 satellites in a 1800 Sqft home, will this be a major upgrade for me? Currently I find loading ring live feeds to be laggy. Wondering if this would help? Thanks guys!

How does this compare to https://www.costco.com/tp-link-de...31942.html

Home is about 2500 sq ft and speed is about 200Mbps, but might up it to 1000Mbps at some point.

I have this router and it's the BEST router I've ever had. Fast speed and WIFI in every room and WIFI outside the house. I used to just have a regular router and so many rooms have dead spot.
I bought these on the refurbished eBay deal a month ago. Set up was easy. I like the Bit defender firewall. It prevents pop ups and malicious links when surfing the net. It also alerted me that someone was trying to hack my Eufy camera. I am pleased so far.

In for a set. Moved from a 1100 sq ft 2bd to a 2600 sqft 4bd last year. had a netgear r7000p that was a CHAMP at the old place. here, the internet comes in literally the worst possible place in the house (back corner), so the internet speeds can get pretty bad in lots of parts of the house, especially where i set up the office computer (upstairs, opposite corner of the router) and the main living room TV (same floor as router, but opposite side of the house.) With this set, looks like I'll put the two additional boxes in the office, and the TV, so hopefully I can more consistently stream high speed. Have a 100mbps connection but may upgrade that to 200mbps + if my speeds are consistently higher with this.

I ordered a set. I was going to get the Nest Router but I figured i'd give the Orbi 6 a try and return it if it doesn't meet my expectations.

Anyone knows what's the max wifi speed it can deliver? I've a 1Gbps cable but my current wifi speed using RBR50 with 2 Sats only delivery 200Mbps max on wifi. Wired around 870mbps - 980mbps. Does wifi6 help deliver higher wifi bandwidth? Is this worth the upgrade? I'm covering around 2k sqft but 2 floors (so 4k sqft) with alot of walls & pillars.

Can anyone who has used both comment on this vs Google Nest Wifi?

I have the previous generation RBK50 and it's been working great for me with just the router + 1 satellite, it would be nice to have a 2nd satellite but I'm not willing to spend $400 to upgrade for wifi6 and an extra satellite.
