Seriously, people abuse costco policy like this is why we cant never have nice thing. You return a 4 years old electronics, how desperate are you?. Stay out of my beloved costco please.
Come on. You returned what you bought 4 years ago and are proud of it?
Go with the Asus. I've tried both and got much better coverage from the Zen.

On another note, apparently Netgear makes you pay for tech support after 90 days to actually use your warranty. That was a no go for me.

Looking for a wifi system for a restaurant (2300 sq ft). Would this be a good option?

They have a lot of models. So do you have any suggestions for a 2200sqt flat house with wired backhaul?
Thank you.

Don't know what others are talking about but set up was a breeze..I was up and running within 6 mins..I have a 2400 sq feet house and walking to the middle of the street outside Im getting over 300mb down with a 400mb stream from Spectrum. And this is only using the wireless backhaul.

Same here. Maybe not 6 minutes. But it was 20 minutes just me sitting there and letting it run. The only thing that was confusing was that I added the second satellite a few hours after the initial setup and the steps at the end was a little confusing to read (I guess I had missed the flashing blue light so I didn't realize the setup was successful already).

Also to be honest, if most of you all are either buying this or hating on this and going for say the Asus for $400 to $500. You can EASILY, hire an electrician to pull say 1-3 Ethernet around the house, get a few cheaper access point and you will be done for life, none of this dropping out and such. I feel that most of you have enough budget if you are looking at Orbi or that particular of the Asus model.

It might be a bit more expensive at the end, but it's one of those once and for all solution.

I am returning mine. Completed the setup steps, then the app can't find the Orbi. The app/phone is connected to it via WIFI, but the app can't find the Orbi to finish the setup. No internet. I reset it and start over, the same same.
Same issue. After banging my head against the wall I spent an hour and a half with Orbi tech support and when they couldn't get it working they hung up on me. Plugged my old one back in and no issues.

I've been asking myself the same question for a couple of months. Based on YouTube reviews (channel name "landpet" ) the Orbi does seem to be slightly faster on the satellites when using wireless backhaul. Basically no speed loss. The X68 seems to only provide around 70% speed on the satellites, which would be great, if not for the Orbi. I might get both and test.

Am I reading the return policy correctly? Costco's return policy for electronics is 90 days and I am wondering if this item is considered "electronics"

Routers are not considered as electronics and it has life time return in Costco

I ran into the same issue. Then I unplugged the power from the Orbi wireless router and plugged back in again, exited the app and retried - BOOM, works! Wi-Fi coverage and speed is amazing.
