Anyone know the difference between this and the Sandisk Extreme? They both have U3, A2, and V30. I would like to use the card for DJI 4K video.
I have the exact same inquiry
EDIT: from what I gather so far, the Sandisk Extreme has better read speeds. But Samsung write speed is on par with Sandisk, plus should have a 10yr warranty.

I just got a 1TB SanDisk Extreme. SanDIsk has lifetime warranty. Also SanDisk can reach higher speeds with it's proprietary SD card reader for faster transfers to PC.
I had the green Samsung EVO which gave me the error message of being too slow in my Insta360 camera even though it's a U3 card.
Hopefully, this new blue version would be better as it's marked as V30
An hour of online search and video gave me the conclusion that both are ok with 4K recording. The read speed only matters when transferring data. Write speed depends on camera/DJI. Both Evo Select and Sandisk Extreme provide more than 70 MB/s across different testers while only 30 MB/s is required for 4K video.
I'd rather get 2 Samsung Evo for the price of 1 Sandisk Extreme, use 1 as back up

Samsung is far more reliable and better all around. My Sandisks that I used in my drone are all dead, one being the 1tb extreme. The integrity (quality) of sandisk is very poor. Especially as they fill up. I lost all of my 4th of July fire work footage and was so bummed. Never again.
Like what the other user said, I'd rather get 2x of the Samsung EVO Select + over 1x sandisk anyway.

Blue versions were clocking in at slower speeds than older green/red versions for me. Let me know how it goes for you.
Test it before use it.. bought 2 micro SD from Amazon a year ago, both are fake.. almost lost all my photos..
THIS. SD cards is the only thing I would never buy from Amazon. You might get a good one, you might not. Why not buy from a store you KNOW you will get a legit card, even if it's an extra $1 or $2? The risk isn't worth the tiny savings.
