Works good enough, it lags when you use Citrix VPN

depends on your workplaces implementation i would assume. my workplace used to allow chromebooks but then removed them from the supported devices list. check with your workplace tech support to be sure. most of the time you would also have that sort of info posted directly on the page you would use to login to your network. your "portal" page so to speak.
Good luck!

much better deal than the $99 walmart one, better processor and 1080p vs 720p which is the bigger thing.
Good deal. Thanks OP.

Also, 3-months of YouTube Premium should be available to anyone (no purchase required).

Per "Lenovo Product Expert" on Best Buy:

Thank you for choosing the Lenovo Chromebook 3 14 model number 82KN0000US. This model ships with 1x USB-C 2.0 (support data transfer, Power Delivery 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.1a) port, with video out capability to an external monitor. This Chromebook 3 14 supports up to 2 independent displays via native display and 1 external monitor; supports external monitor via USB-C (up to 1920x1080@60Hz). If you are connecting an HDMI monitor with a USB-c adapter, be sure the adapter and the cable you are using is compatible with DisplayPort 1.1a version. Check the resolution settings within your monitor.

So yes, no HDMI, but you can utilize the USB-C 2.0 port for an external display.

Holding out for a machine ONLY for kid's watching DVD's on an external device and streaming via USB, will there be a better deal on a 14"+ upcoming in your opinion?

Thanks OP! I purchased this exact model a few weeks ago for $179 and just got a price adjustment for $50 plus tax. Nice little machine for web browsing and streaming video.

Chromebook will not work with external DVD players.

Same processor roughly as the Lenovo Duet - so if you are wondering at performance, check reviews for that to gauge processor performance.

"Sorry, there was a problem. Please try that again."

I've been getting this stupid error from Best Buy for months when trying to sign in or at checkout ever since I got my PS5. Does anyone know how to fix this? Clearing cookies and data did nothing. I'd like to grab one of these but best buy wont let me check out 95% of the time due to these errors.

Sometimes I get errors like that and they usually want me to disable all ad/script blocking, etc And then I re-enable. It's worth a shot.

Man, 1080 but to bad this doesn't have the N4000 or N4020 in it. I have the 11 1/2" Lenovo 3 with the 4020 and it's pretty snappy with Octane scores around 18,000. The MT8183 only hits around 10,000 which is definitely iffy even in a Chromebook. Heck, the 2012-2014 Acer C710's and 20's are faster.

I just had the same error while trying to buy this. I went into incognito mode and it worked fine in there, FYI. Hope this helps.
