If you're getting BOCW, bear in mind that it's currently in its swan song at time of writing. It won't disappear overnight when Vanguard is released, but you're going to be heavily encouraged to play the new CoD instead. You can pretty much expect only hardcore and non-casual friendly playlists for about a month after Vanguard's release, like what Activision did with Modern Warfare 2019 when BOCW was released.

I disagree , Vanguard is an old style shooter dry different than this title.

Totally agree if you're interested in playing the multiplayer seasonal battle pass. The weapons you unlock cannot even be used in the core multiplayer of the previous year version. This made me lose interest in Modern Warfare and I finally bought Cold War first sale it had. I'm sure the same thing will happen here; the push for you to drop the game you like to play for the new yearly edition. If you mostly play warzone for multiplayer then at least you can use all of the unlocks etc although then I'd argue don't buy the game, just buy the battlepass for 10 bucks once and you're good to go
