I used to view these are healthy bars, but they are more like dessert. These have way too much added sugar for me. Thanks for posting, but I have to resist.

They are a third sugar, so they literally could.

Have to agree with the other poster. Back in the day, when I didn't know much about sugar, I used to think these were healthy.

Yes, as much sugar as a candy bar, but could be good for what they are intended for - sports bars

Additional 19g sugar per day (assuming you take only one), after a few months, you are guaranteed to get closer to type-2 than living without it!

They used to have an apple cinnamon bar, and a blueberry bar that had the least sugar of all of them, but neither of those kinds seem to be made anymore. Almost every single one of their bars has the same amount of sugar as a candy bar, and if I'm going to eat a candy bar, I'll just eat a candy bar. The only Clif Bars left that are slightly healthy are the Z bars for kids, since they have some vitamins in them, and the bars are about half the size of a normal Clif Bar, automatically giving them less sugar.

I've purchased this.... Not very good, IMO. Like eating coffee grounds in a Clif Bar.
