What's with the down vote. I don't know much about this printer but it seems to be a good deal since it's close to the 3 V2 price.

Got a follow up to my "I'm cool with waiting" response with same plea to take another option plus filament. Honesty no desire to take one of the other options and throwing in filament isn't going to change my mind. Figure I'll just go dark and worry about canceling or a chargeback later. In the meantime I think I'll just buy an E5 pro elsewhere for $300–still a decent price

Also, it's Newegg that is the enabler by not properly vetting 3rd party sellers.
I got the same emails. I also had this same problem with a car part I tried to buy a few years ago. Learned that not all Newegg sellers are legit. I'm goin to wait a few days to see what happens, but will probably just try to get a refund. The emails I got only suggested other printers. They did not say anything about a future ship date, only that they are out of stock. This sucks....

Bought this.

Was offered two other options.

Was told that they ordered new SKUs and will arrive in 1-2 months. Told them I will wait.

Received the cancelation email today.

Clearly a bait and switch to get us to buy other things after we paid. SMH.

I also got the 2 options reconsideration request. I picked the CR 6SE. This morning, I received an email saying that they have to cancel the order because it's also out of stock. However, they said they'll send me 2 spool of filaments for free for compensation for the trouble, and will refund the money when I receive the filaments. For what it's worth, it doesn't seem like they are trying to scam me.

Why do they need to refund you after you get the filament? Tell them to refund you now. They told me they would be shipping mine, but I have not received confirmation of shipping and so I will likely need to contact to cancel.

I'm not sure honestly. I have the email chain as proof so it should be an easy refund from Newgg or Paypal if they don't actually refund me.

UPDATE: My Ender 5 DID NOT SHIP. The UPS web site says that the item shipped weights 6.70 LBS. This must be the two rolls of filament that they said they would send "for my troubles". But, they also charged my credit card $245.26. Now I need to deal with trying to get a refund.

My Ender 5 Pro got shipped last night. A few days ago I went on the Newegg site and requested to cancel the order. I guess it didn't take, so last night I got a text from Newegg saying my credit card was charged. I went on the Newegg site this morning and it says it was shipped. The UPS tracking number confirms something was shipped (I hope it is the Ender 5 Pro). It should be here November 4th so I will update when I receive something.

It is kind of weird because I got an email from the seller saying the order was cancelled due to shipping from China issues, but now it just shipped. I guess I will find out on Nov 4th.

I got the two "free" rolls two days ago. Emailed the seller and he replied that he will work with Newegg to refund me. Did you actually get a refund? If I don't hear anything by the end of Monday, I will have to contact Newegg. I went with the CR-200B option for the same price and actually received it a couple days ago. Brand new, no issues, I'm pretty happy with the outcome despite how strange this all was. The receipt and invoice still showed Ender 5.

They just have an temporary authorization on my card. When the order cancelled, it's automatically removed so I was never actually charged for it.
