It is the best gaming TV period! It has an actual G-Sync hardware chip in it that is 100% compatible with all features of AMD's Freesync and Nvidia's G-Sync. It also supports Variable Refresh Rate, does 120 Hz 4K, and has something like 1ms input lag. In short, buy this TV! 😁

I’ve done a bit of research and I think it is. It’s exactly why I got one myself.

Best picture outside of marginally better more expensive sony. More picture processing may make sony better for movies but worse for gaming.

Probably around 2100 or more. The 48 and 55 have always been priced very well compared to anything larger. This usually was the case for the CX, C9, and older models.

I believe RTINGS said that brightness in a well lit room might be an issue as it has a relatively low peak brightness, it's one of the cons as well as potential for burn in. I'd recommend reading their review. https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/lg/c1-oled

This seems like it's the best deal for a C1 so far. Anyone think it'll go lower come Black Friday?

Anyone have experience with claims through CPS? Also how much of a hassle are returns if needed?

CPS is not great to deal with based on what I read previously in other threads.

Now I just need Best Buy to announce their price drop.

edit: Wait a minute. Is the price going to be $1299 for the 55inch THEN you also get $120 credit? Or will the price be $1400 with $120 credit which kind of brings it down to $1300?

And with this warranty.. man this might be worth buying and not going through best buy.

edit 2: oh man couple posts above say CPS is not great to deal with... and it wouldn't surprise me... who wants to warranty burn-in.

There will likely just be sales that match this pricing. Costco will probably offer this price with similar Allstate warranty coverage (though it doesn't cover burn-in).

Allstate is easier to deal with but doesn't provide burn in coverage. Plus $100 ebay credit is probably more valuable than the $100 hulu credit costco has been giving.

Costco support and returns are much easier though, especially for something as large as a TV.

It's $1299 and you get $120 ebay credit.

With executive membership you get 2% back and 100 streaming credit. Combine that with simple returns and exchanges, it beats the 120
