I've been eyeing this massager.
Price coming down to $65, makes a good buy for Christmas.

Can anyone chime in? I've tried taotronics' massager from Amazon before, and while it might've helped a bit, it takes some effort to use - and I don't have a baseline to compare it to. Also have never tried higher end stuff like hyperice(?) or theragun.

I know Costco has a good return policy, but I'd feel bad buying on a maybe, because I'm leaning towards probably not loving it already

This is good but the amplitude is not a lot. Amplitude is just 10 mm vs theragun which is 16 mm. It's alright for smaller muscles like biceps, triceps, forearms, a maybe for calves depending on how big yours are, but definitely as no go for hamstrings and quads and glutes.

I have this and imo one needs the biggest relief on the larger muscle groups, specifically the hamstrings and glutes and this is ineffective on those.

Hope this helps your use case.

If you are looking for something like the Theragun, Hypervolt, etc., I have heard the R2 that Costco sells comes closest. It went on sale back in June for $70 (down from $90, but it is now $100). Hopefully it will go on sale again.

my therapist used the hybervolt on me, and compare with the cheap ones on the Amazon, the hybervolt does a better job.
But I just can't justify the $250 price VS the $25, LOL. Anyone has any suggestions?

I just bought an inexpensive jigsaw and a set of massage heads. Ends up being cheaper, much more powerful and longer lasting than these. Lots of videos on YT on how to do it.

CES 2020 I saw like 10 manufacturers selling these . They all claimed they are the manufacturer but I don't think any of them actually were the manufacturer. They were all Chinese resellers (one was Turkish). They all had different brand names and pricing ranged from $8 to $60. Most of them hovered around $10-$15.

Two weeks later I saw one at a hotel for $599!!! Then I saw at Bestbuy $349!!!! Then I was like FK this is how people afford those Ferraris. Reselling $8 junk for $599 and have no shame.

Anything over $15 is to much for this. But it on bang good or eba y .

Problem is that these are not all the same and that the specifications that are important are not posted such as amplitude, voltage, mAh, etc.
