NO do not this display is dogshit, the performance is poor due to low wattage and poor thermals, also potential hinge issues(major warning). This is utter shite, don't why GL or GF series are ever recommended here, MSI's Katana is a GL rebrand and attempt to scrub this laptops bad reputation.
Avoid these laptops. For good, reliable at least decently constructed chassis's with way better performance look out for Dell G15(AMD edition, Intel works too but is worse), HP Omen/Victus, MSI GP/GE 66 and 76, Legion 5(most ideal), Helios 300, Nitro 5. Search for these, and don't buy below a 3060, there have been incredible deals for all these laptops, but they may not be on sale right this moment.
Hey it won't be for everyone, but that's why I provided all of the information. So people could make their own, informed purchasing decisions
This is not the way. Put the actual date it starts, not "tomorrow" because when "tomorrow" rolls around and it is "today" it will still say "tomorrow"

Noon comment here. Is this good for VR? My daughter wants to get more into VR. Is 6gb ram in the video card enough?
I've heard laptops are underwhelming for VR but this looks like good specs. But I've lost touch with computers. Any ideas anyone?
Depends on what hardware she's using, I've used a 3080 mobile and currently on a 3060 130w TDP for my Quest 2 and really haven't noticed a difference. So for a Quest 2 I'd say go for it(might be better 3070 deals around BF tho) also this chassis does run hot.

She doesn't run anything. She's got the original quest and finds it boring. She's trying to get into roblox VR which requires a PC. So she's not a high end gamer, she's 12 years old, and roblox *should* be the lower end of requirements I imagine. I'm was going to pair this up with a quest 2. Thank you for your input sounds like it should work for her!
