You would need drill bits with a hex shank base as this adapter doesn't have a chuck

Can you drill a hole with this angled adaptor? My drill bits are rounded not hexed at the bottom. Hope im making sense.

It is! Seriously, an essential for anyone with tools. Also, surprisingly durable. I buried in about 350 3inch screws into pressure treated wood using this for my fence...worked flawlessly
