Right. But it also applies to what you're saying about yourself. Instead of buying 3 AAA games a month, cut it down to 2 and put that $50 towards the N64 (if it was decent) service. That's just responsible spending when you aren't a millionaire.

Ok, I'm going to be VERY honest......... Maybe, just maybe Nintendo wouldn't charge exorbitant prices on EVERYTHING, if idiot gamers didn't buy everything they sold, no matter what. This is the same as Apple pricing. I have a friend that owns two Nintendo switches, and a Nintendo switch lite. Why does she own 3? I'll tell you why, two of the other ones have some bullshit Pokemon/Zelda skin, and a Nintendo Lite, because she's gotta catch em all, I guess. Wtf?? If you want Nintendo to stop raping you financially, be a more responsible consumer collectively. This is not Nintendo's fault, they are a business. This is 100% a consumer issue. Stop-supporting-bad-behavior. $50 controller is sold out, all the time, so it's not wrong for Nintendo to sell it for $50. That's capitalism baby, the market has spoken!! I don't like this crap either. Get a 8bitdo sn30 pro+ when it's on sale. It's freaking awesome.
I'd rather get real products than knock offs. I just have no interest in "8bitdo" stuff. I just get real stuff on sale is best I can do
Ugh I've clicked on this deal 10 different times now thinking it was a different post.. can you not just take n64 put of the title and post? It was oos less than an hour after this post too.
You're saying 3rd party is never legit? I own one, it's VERY solid.
im saying it may be legit, but OEM is best.
the fact that you cant turn on the switch with the home button is enough to make me say fuk off with 3rd party. never.
Pro controller vs that 8bitdo controller for same price range, why would anyone pick the aftermarket? I mean everyone has their reasons.. but it wont be what I play Mario party on later.
Just received the controller yesterday and tested almost all games, so AMA.
Super Mario 64, Starfox 64, and Sin & Punishment all play just like I remember. Joystick feels stiff for now but will probably take a while to start getting wobbly. Buttons are solid construction and responsive. Rumble feels nice.
Notes:
I have normal-sized hands, and I did not find the grip to be too uncomfortable after playing for one hour. I do not anticipate using this for long N64 gaming sessions.
Additional notes: "The new controllers use potentiometers instead of optical sensors for the sticks and on top of that, it has the same plastic pieces of the original controller, meaning that you will have wobbly and drifting sticks after some time." Um, poor spending behavior is ingrained in our society now. It's actually supported by politicians and cheered by the masses.
It leaks all the way down to $50 Nintendo controllers.
That being said, I wish I hadn't missed this.
Correct.
I prefer to save $ regardless.
