I've been pretty happy with these using HomeKit for recording. With HomeKit, you can have them automatically disable recording when you're home and automatically turn on when everyone leaves.

In for this. The newer eufy cameras don't support homekit so these are solid and a very good deal. Will use one in our kitchen window looking outside, and one in the entryway.

Question for homekit people: do these work fast enough to use as a sensor? If I position a camera to my front door will it move fast enough to trigger our lights?

It is better to buy security equipment from trustable vendors. IMO, Eufy is NOT on the safe list.

Who cares? These cameras are for the outside or hallways. If they really want to see what you're doing, they can do it no matter what. Have you heard of Jeff Bezos' and Ben Hubbard's (a NY Times journalist) iPhones were hacked with a zero-click exploit?
