The battery life is absolutely horrible, and the power drops from 100 watts to 60 one unplugged, but beside that this speaker is unbeatable for $160 or less

I love how ridiculous the regular MSRP is on items like this. Definitely a deal, but not worth it to me. My Onyx 5 sounds better IMO.

Or Onyx 6 for that matter.. I searched Google but couldn't find anything conclusive. It looks like this speaker plays in Stereo and will be bit louder than Onyx 6. This one seems to be designed for "Desk" application with mobility or battery life as after though and Onyx seems to be designed more as "pool or "patio" speaker. Don't know about audio quality difference between both though. I hope someone responds with more details.

A freaking steal. I own two of them. I purchased them when a big sale came on and they were 179 a piece. These are fantastic if you are going to keep them in place plugged in. If you plan on using them on the go with a battery, pass. The battery sucks. 2-3 hours tops. That said, if it is stay plugged in and stay in place speaker, I don't think you can do better for the price. They sound amazing.
