I have both the Bio Bidet 6800 and the Toto SW2044 (slightly different model). The Toto is much more powerful when you turn the 'Soft' option off and it puts out a lot more water/second. I'd say the Bio can only get up to a 4-5 where as the Toto can go all the way to 10 in terms of water pressure. However, I find this pressure to be too much and prefer to be in the ~7 range. The Toto's air filter works much better at eliminating smells, though the charcoal filter does need to be replaced every 12-18 months at ~$30/pop. I find the Toto more comfortable to sit on and it also sprays inside the bowl when you sit down to help prevent anything from sticking to the walls (Bio Bidet doesn't have this). The air dryers on both don't work well as it is much faster to use a little TP to dry off and be on your way.

The Bio Bidet doesn't get much use anymore as the wife and I strongly prefer the Toto, but it is more expensive. Guests who are new to bidets and use the Bio Bidet (now in the guest bath) generally enjoy it, as we did before moving on to the Toto.

We've had two of these for the past year and they're great. Super clean asses and rarely use toilet paper anymore.

I don't know anything about these in particular. But I just want to say that automated washlets are a lifestyle improvement that's beyond anything one can imagine. It almost feels like going from a 19th century barbarian to a future person.

I'd suggest anyone to get one, doesn't necessarily have to be these.

Is this worth the price? $200 isn't cheap for the job it does.

The back of this thing is several inches long causing the seat to shift forward regardless if you get the correct round or elongated. Mostly becomes an issue for guys..

Seat doesn't stay up on its own. Have to have good aim while peeing.

They recommend using only water and a cloth to clean it. How do I disinfect it?

How does this provide hot water? Does it have to be connected to the hot water supply at the sink?

it heats the water by electric. thats the reason you need an outlet.

I love everything about this unit except it doesn't sit up when toilet seat is lifted. It only opens to an angle and you have to aim above the rim but below the seat. Maybe designed to sit while peeing?

Without power is a physics impossibility. There is not one without power. Otherwise I would have bought that.
Both my adult children have bidets without power. They just don't have heated water or seats. They just run off the pressure in the water line.

Really good concept but poor quality. We own two of them and so far within 1 yr of ownership we had seat broken on both of them at hinges and seat cover on one. Their customer service is pretty good on sending replacement but beware you will have to fix it.

Beware!!!! Buy it at your own risk.
I've had this model for over two years with no breakage, and I am well over 300 lbs. Be gentle when sitting and standing, and it should be fine. And if your lid broke, then someone sat on it, and you should NEVER sit on the lid.

Ever since I got one, I usually hold it till I get home. It just feels dirty without washing it afterwards. Love my bidet.

*Rarely* use toilet paper anymore? Don't you still need to wipe after each sitting.. to make sure it's, uh, CLEAN?

I found a used brondell swash 1000 for $10 at habitat for humanity. Best $10 spent in my entire life. Yes it's used but it's probably still seen less action than the gas station/ rest area toilet we've all sat on.

I think if this one broke I'd break down and spent the $500 they are new. I've had several cold water models and the warm seat, warm water, warm dryer are amazing on this one. The fact that I don't have to get my hands dirty anymore is a godsend. I ran a plug behind my toilet, really easy to do as long as you know what you're doing.

If you're on the fence about spending $200 on this one, get a cold water model for $30-40 first.
