Monoprice has again dropped the price on their fantastic (budget!) 15" subwoofer. This is as far as I know the lowest it's gone yet. For the price this is truly a fantastic subwoofer the only thing I've noticed on both of the ones I've purchased prior to now is that the auto on feature does not work very well at all (but for $240 I'm happy to do a wireless power switch.)

would the neighbors in the next house or 2 be able to hear this.
It depends how much space you have between your house and the next or how high you turn it up. At movie theater settings I have to turn it off (or turn on the low frequency containment) when playing call of duty if the family are asleep as it will shake the house... (even though my listening area has a concrete floor and is built on to the back of the house...) It's definitely not a hu or the like, but it's a heavy 15" sub and for less than $250 a steal, not sure how I will manage to sneak another one into the house 🤣
i have a BIC PL-200II which has had good reviews for a budget sub and has 250watt RMS.
It's plenty loud and has nice oomph to it that you can feel.
I can only imagine this 600 watt RMS.
Anyone have any further reviews on it? the subwoofer itself doesnt look like good quality and that it can blow with all that power after recoiling
Unfortunately most of the online discussions tend to go down to people saying well you could get this but why not spend $500 for this... and the non THX certified subs don't get the review interest that the THX ones do (which are supposedly excellent quality, etc but so much more expensive they're not really competitors.) As far as cheap quality goes, that sums it up it's cheap but works I've had it installed going on 11 months With give or take 7hrs of usage every day generating no issues (Aside from the auto power not working on either of the two that I installed 11 months ago from the start. I returned one due to that issue and the replacement was the same so I said screw it and used a Smart switch with no complaints since last year.)
If you do end up getting this I would love to know what you think compared to the BIC which is universally loved (they do have a 30-day money back guarantee if you're not happy which includes return shipping.) If you want something more in line size wise with the Bic they do also have a 400w 12 in that is on sale for $190: https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=41498 my money is on the Bic definitely performing better than their 12-in but it's also usually more then 50% more $ so it should...

How does this compare to the SW-115 Klipsch sub?
The price for this seems ridiculous, it includes free shipping! This thing is 66+lbs! I'd hate to pay for return shipping if its DOA or issues down the road....dont need or want this but at this price.....just might!
