I'm bummed. I literally paid $269.99 YESTERDAY on Amazon and they won't give me the difference back, and I don't want to deal with shipping it back, rebuying, and just all the waste it creates. Both were shipped and sold by amazon. Yesterday was also $299 at Lowe's so it seemed like a good deal to me. VSG rated it pretty highly, and can't afford the DeWalt. Maybe there was a big increase in available stock today.

You could still get the difference back. Let's call the saw you bought yesterday saw X. Buy a second saw (saw Y) today. When Y arrives, go on your Amazon account and indicate that you wish to return saw X. Then, instead of shipping them back saw X (which you've already opened), ship them saw Y (unopened). They'll refund you the money you paid for saw X.

Of course, this only works if you're both willing and able to tie up $250 for a couple of days in order to save $20. And it still creates the waste.

Yeah I though about it. I might try it, I've just read a out people getting kicked out of prime so I'm hesitant to abuse it. With a hack all I need to do is walk into home Depot, this is a bigger pain.
