It's actually sitting completely boxed in my house, but probably not worth the hassle to return.
This is the same model that Costco had (it's member store only model) and they had it for ~$1850.
I don't think this will last very long before they sell out but I hope I'm wrong.
Also the epp/student deal for the q95 was I think $2065ish. I bought this one over the q95 for the better viewing angle and reflections performance. But it'll be in the same room as my 75" q80t.
Someone had mentioned there was maybe a slight option difference in the membership only model and the q85na, but I don't even remember what they said it was so insignificant I think.
Im editing my post i meant 65 inch. You have to sacrifice size. Costco will have the qn9 which is the same model 65 inch starting NOV1st for:
$1,699.99
LIMIT 3
Samsung 65" Class - QN9 Series - 4K UHD NEO QLED LCD TV
Allstate 3-Year Protection Plan included for 5 years of total coverage
Mini LED Technology + $65 streaming credit included
Item 9865900
Costco Concierge Services technical support and second-year warranty included.
Free shipping
Alternatively you can use a corporate/education discount on samsung.com to get it for 1675 at the moment. But id go the costco route.
More notes: I actually bought the qn85 and returned it for the qn90 because the ips glow, lower contrast (image popped less) and lower brightness. I think for this price of ~1600 or ~1700 I'd go for a 65 inch if you can sacrifice size and get the "best of the best" TV... Be it the oled c1 or the qn90A. Now if you really need a bigger size go big. But 65 is big enough for many.
