Doesn't this mean Kobalt's cordless days' are numbered?

Kobalt is to Flex what Ryobi/Ridgid is to Milwaukee. I just need Flex to start dropping some tool deals and adding more to their line before I decide to invest.
Do we know if the batteries will be interchangeable?
The batteries are not interchangeable

I have acquired a decent amount of Kobalt tools over the years. They're good quality but most are no longer being sold because they got pushed out of the store for a more profitable brand or model.
The Kobalt torque wrenches were one of the latest casualties. They are great quality but got bounced for the plastic Craftsman models.

I feel like based on your username alone I debate whether I should reply, but I 100% didn't attempt to compare Flex to Milwaukee, merely offer a layout of where the lines were supposed to fall in the world of tools.
The new Flex is young (as there is an old Flex), Chervon is not. And their goal has been to be another Pro level tool line alongside Milwaukee, Dewalt and others. As to whether they'll live up to that over time is a whole other discussion we can't even have yet.
