Thanks OP. Picked up the chalk nest 2nd gen for $50. It says it might be a couple weeks back order, but I'm not in a rush. Decent price, considering the 1st gens we're about $10 less.

I've been using both for the past few months. The two things that are apparent to me is the sleep tracking and upgraded sound. The new one has improved midrange and bass. Other than that, I didn't notice anything else that's different. I don't care much about the sleep tracking because my smartwatch is most likely doing a better job. This is only $10 more than the last deal which was a 1st gen. Definitely worth it for the sound improvements.

I've had the Lenovo 10" version for a couple of years and it's worked well for my needs. The screen resolution is nice and it's great for playing a slide show of Google photos. I use it to control z wave, Zigbee and WiFi smart devices. It's also great for playing YouTube vids or showing recipes. It has a video chat feature I don't use and you can block the camera. The sound on it is fine. I got it for under $100 so I think that's a good value.
