I think most Bluetooth don't work on iOS (has something to do with permissions that iOS allows over Bluetooth protocols). WiFi units seem to be more compatible with iOS devices.

I ordered a different brand of this exact same model
Was not easy to use with my Subaru Outback and Android. Haven't tried it with the new car or Apple.

You'll use this in conjunction with an app.
Most people use Torque to view values and reset the CEL.

I bought this last time it was on sale. Just a heads up. It does NOT work with Forscan. Has a clone/knockoff ELM327 chip inside that won't work with it. For just reading codes and resetting CEL its fine but be warned their software sucks pretty bad, You can use CarScanner or InCarDoc instead which are better made apps.

I've had nothing but issues with these cheap obd dongles. Only one I found worth buying was obdlink. Cheap ones rarely connect and lack functions. Not worth the money and hassle thinking its the apps

These cheaper OBD readers don't read the advanced codes.

Do you have that link for your obdlink (for iOS?)...?
