What functions is this missing that the one you mention has? Honest question.
I can't imagine buying a $120 scanner when the $10 ones have been great for me.
Works great with InCarDoc Android for reading engine codes, clearing check engine light, monitoring economy (ecomodder.com), logging, etc.
Generally a good device to have to figure out what's wrong in modern engines.
Eg latest emissions fault on mine already let me know where to look to find the broken sensor wires.
I use BT because it's lower power drain on the phone, leaves my wifi free if I want to connect to a hot spot. Some may prefer wifi to listen to music and calls over bt.
These long black readers work better for me than the super short blue models you'll see on eBay etc.

I got DS's 'deal' on a Samsung wireless charger. It was 'new in box'. But after everyone bought them up, they sent an email that said it was new, but in no fuss packaging, then asked to confirm I still wanted it. Had link to new description. So I go there and notice it says 'no accessories'. I thought ok, that's shady. Looks like they might skimp out on the USB C cable that came in the original new box. Looks like they are selling it as new, then tricking us in to buying it without new packaging (not a big deal to me) or the usb c cable (not a big deal to me).
Then they send me only the charger pad, and nothing else, not even the charger. The thing is it usess a proprietory or very finicky charger. So none of my chargers worked. And I have a lot of chargers, charger fanatic. All bases covered, including PPS chargers that are very smart.
So basically they just sent a bunch of stuff that was unusable few to zero people, and cashed in on everyone who didn't spend half their life going through all the hoops and returning it. Other buyers said their charger came with scratches, or used, not working. I can't verify that, or if the one I got was new. Mine was not scratched, but did notice it did not have any new manufacture smell.
I returned mine, and they gave me my money back. Thing is it cost a lot of time and it was very stressful because they were clearly shady and I didn't know how it was going to turn out, as I kept pouring time, and mental energy to resolve the situation.
I recommend not to buy from them, unless it's completly un-ignorably a good deal, and you have all your bases covered (like pay with paypal, who I'm starting to trust less too, cough).
They are hustlers. You might have to enter a wrestling ring every purchase.

For me personally, my favorite modification was to the number of lane-change blinks. By default, if I tapped the handle for the turn signals but didn't push it all the way, the turn signals would blink three times and then stop. Three blinks didn't feel long enough to make my intentions known to other drivers, so I upped it to seven blinks. I had previously asked the dealership to make this change for me since other people had success at their dealerships, but mine didn't know what the heck I was talking about.
Here's a random page that links to spreadsheets with options for different models: https://ohptools.com/blogs/news/l...th-forscan
