Vizio has 3 Yr mfg warranty.
Hisense only 1. Also overall reviews for U6G are better but equally worse reviews for their QC and panel lottery.
I have had 2 vizios till now and never had any issues .. so personally I would go with Vizio

I have the 58". Motion sucks. You have to turn literally everything in advanced picture settings off and ensure your sources are providing the highest possible quality to get anywhere close to acceptable motion. So much stutter it's a joke. Color is nice, though. Brightness… meh.

Since it has a native 60Hz panel it can't do 4K@120Hz...

Too bad this isn't in stores, having a TV shipped by UPS or FedEx is not good. Seems like a good price for a large screen and with a 3-year warranty. I suppose you could get the Costco membership, get the TV and then cancel the membership after.

Wondering why the rating on the Costco website is only 4.1. Most of the TVs are 4.5 or higher…

The only review that matters is the buyer's ultimately. Just use reviews to weed through features you want and red flags if it passes that then bring it home and make a final decision.

I just bought a Hisense u8g, got lucky in the panel lottery, but I hate the viewing angles and the color luminance issues too much to replace my current set so it's going back. Using that as an example since it's a super highly rated TV and yet I didn't like it as the buyer.

"The Hisense U6G is better overall than the Vizio M7 Series Quantum 2021. The Hisense is a much better choice to use in well-lit rooms because it gets much brighter and has superior reflection handling. The Hisense also has a better local dimming feature, but the Vizio displays deeper blacks because it has higher native contrast. Motion looks smoother on the Hisense thanks to the quicker response time, but the Vizio has more gaming features like VRR support" -RTINGS

My opinion.. if you just go by what RTINGS.com say, you'll never be able to pull trigger on anything... They dont consider cost, warranty, ease of return and so many other factors... Also I feel their focus is more on gaming features which for most of these entry level TVs dont matter

The digital trends review does a good job talking about it, but basically bright colors look great so something like The Simpsons or anime looks awesome on the TV, but something that is using a pale color, or something with a lower "punchiness" to it looks off and "sick". So something like an older movie would exhibit this issue.

Interesting. I read there were color gradient issues too.
