Yeah, that should work. You just use the same login on the other device. You only need a Roku to get the offer.

You have to select ad-free trial ($14.99 after trial) and verify your email and then setup your password for your email account. If you were watching with some one else's account, you need to sign out and log in with new account.
I may renew with an Amex offer of $25 off a $99.99 w/ ad subscription, good until 12/31 (HBO Max will no longer have same day Warner Bros premier movies so may not be worth it to me for extra $50 unless HBO adds other bonuses--I do not use 4K content).
