I purchased this for my daughter 4 years ago. One of my favorite things has been looking back at pictures I've taken of her in front of it and seeing how much she's grown over the years! She started about a foot under and is now taller than it. Smilie

Bought a kid craft doll house similar to this for my daughter many years ago. She still plays with it. But it is definitely worn. Very low quality. Right out of the box some pieces were so worn that I had to call them up and request replacement pieces. To their credit they did send them very very quickly (1 or 2 day shipping) without me even requesting expedited shipping, but the replacement pieces arrived on Christmas Eve and Christmas was saved. Anyway, overall it's really poor quality and most of the furniture accessories broke pretty quickly. Some screws stripped just trying to carefully move it around her room a few times. Some of the paper finish came off as well. She also has a plastic Barbie dollhouse which on the other hand looks practically brand new still. She is generally really careful and has hardly ever broken anything, but it's possible some of her friends might have been a little rougher. If I had the choice I'd buy a Barbie dollhouse instead, it's just way better quality.

Recently bought the "majestic" version. Getting details on the differences is a challenge but it seems like this is easier to set up but perhaps not quite as durable. "Grandview" says it has "Innovative bracket assembly technology for faster and easier set up". This difference is also referenced in a couple comments from the manufacturer on Amazon. I can tell you from experience the "Majestic" takes quite a bit to assemble. So I'm inferring they made it a little quicker and a little less expensive. When I went through the reviews on Amazon this one "Grandview" has good reviews but a few more " it broke" reviews than "Majestic". Just an opinion but think it's the same thing just a bit cheaper materials. Now having said that you could buy two of these for the price of one "Majestic".
Regardless would recommend based on my experience so far. My daughter likes it and it seems her interest will last a lot longer than other toys. Also no batteries or anything. So $ per play, I think it's a good buy.
