If you don't know, you probably won't care. Those ratings are mostly for photographers/filmmakers, as the Switch only runs at U1 speeds. However if you wanted to use it for "off-label" use in a camera, it'd cost you about $40 per card to a get a non-Nintendo branded card with the same speeds.

The Extremes have 160 MB/s read speed. These are only showing 100 MB/s.

Maybe it won't matter in a Switch, but definitely seem different.

I bought this for my raspberry pi 4b and it's been running great. I think any San Disk and Samsung micro sd cards work great and they are reliable. Slickdeals have better deals from b&h selling v3 for the same price. When I bought mine it was the cheapest and it made sense. Plus you know it's legit and hassle free.

Kind of. That's a burst speed, if you look at sustained benchmarks, they're you won't see 160 MB/s that easily. The chances of sandisk retooling their factories to create SD cards between the ultra and extreme are very low; rather they're much more likely to just slap a new case for Nintendo for their extreme line, and advertise a lower read speed (such as the sustained speed instead of burst), and call it a day

"SanDisk told us that these versions are identical inside, and they both perform about as well as the SanDisk Extreme cards, but microSD cards are often quietly revised, so there's no guarantee that that will be the case forever."
