I will be honest, I gave this thing away. got a ninja foodi xl grille 6 in 1 or whatever, it does 10x better than this thing. and just better in every way. serious, pass

I own one. It works and crisps fries and chicken nuggets alright. Basket capacity is alright. Most frozen things take 18-22 minutes...but you don't have to preheat.

I like taking my instant pot and air fryer lid to my cabin. I can bake, air fry, and make chili or soup without needing other appliances.

Agreed...other products may do the job and actually take up less space.

Why did they increase the price. IIrc, these were included in the warehouse sale even though they were new, and were around $28. Thought about it but passed. Sure they'll be under $20 soon enough.

Yeah, I use instant pot for like instant pot meals but air frying, the ninja blew the lid away. The capdcity was small and it just wasn't convenient. It worked but I wouldn't of bought it before I found out about foodi ninja grille item

I returned it after one use. This is not your typical air fryer replacement. It is nowhere close. I got a usual air fryer and those things are fantastic. This is something in between which is mostly useless.

The hat is huge! We only used it a few times because you can't really clean the hat due to heating element can't be cleaned.
The inner basket to use with this hat is a real pain to clean.

Just buy an Insignia air fryer for half the price instead. This thing takes up the same space and doesn't work nearly as well.

i have one, it was a neat concept to turn an instant pot, which already does so many things, into ONE more thing, but the thing is, the lid is so big that it does indeed take up the same amount of shelf space as a whole seperate air fryer would, with less capacity. if you can get it for cheaper than this, i might say go for it, but for 50 bucks? just get a dedicated air fryer at that point.

air fryers are great appliances and do have some very common uses, but this thing is kind of a chore to set up and lug around.

i have a 6qt pressure cooker,
and now i have 4qt air fryer.

you definitely do not want to combine the two
as it's not just a matter of the heat & fan
it's also the vented basket the food is kept
and how they all work together to better
circulate the hot air during the fry cycle.

btw, a trick i do to make my air fryer better
i got a 7" round 3" tall steel cooking rack at
a chinese grocer for $4 which are commonly
used in woks (that oil fry) and steamers.
this enables you to further air gap the food
so i'll dump half my food in, rack, then put
the other half of the food on that rack.
