Razer kraken headsets are extremely bassy and inaccurate, with pretty mediocre imaging and frequency response. The blackshark v2 x isnt much better but it still is a significant step up from this. $45 for this is not a great price, you can get it for 25 like new from amazon warehouse or get the v2 x for 30 like new. For 45 the best you can do is the Cloud Alpha S or GSP300 from amazon warehouse.

It's a solid average headset. It's not that any one thing is really great. I bought this and can attest to its durability as I've passed it on to my 8 year old who hasn't broken it yet and uses it regularly.

I got this for my son earlier this year and had to send it back because he was only getting sound in one ear. They tried all types of troubleshooting before they eventually replaced it with the Ultimate version since this version was no longer available.

Need anc, Bluetooth, 50mm drivers, faux leather, and a retractable mic or supershort one like the Arctis Pro. Price needs to be under $50.
